How it works

Three steps,no surprises.

What we need from you, what we come back with, and when the work gets arranged.

What actually happens when I get window film installed?

Three steps. You tell us about the glass and the rooms, and we recommend the next step. We confirm the details, from photographs where that is practical or from a site visit where it is not, and put a written quotation in front of you. Once the scope and the price are agreed, we contact you to arrange a suitable installation time.

01

Tell us about the glass

Answer a few questions about the property, the rooms, what you are trying to solve and roughly how much glass there is. It takes a couple of minutes, and it is enough for us to understand the job and recommend the next step.

02

Confirm the details

A written quotation has to be written against the glass that is actually in your frames. Where photographs are enough to establish that, we will ask you for them. Where they are not, or where you would rather we came out, we look at the windows in person. Either way you receive a written quotation naming the film, the rooms and the price, and you read it in your own time.

03

We arrange the work

Once the scope and the written quotation are agreed, we contact you to arrange a suitable installation time. The film is applied to the inside face pane by pane and the specification is recorded against your job. After that there is nothing to service, reapply or book.

Questions about the process.

How do I get a price?+
Tell us about the glass and we prepare a written quotation you can read, compare and accept in your own time.
What is the difference between an estimate and a quotation?+
An estimate is indicative and produced from what you tell us. A quotation is the verified price, prepared once we have confirmed the glass, the access and the film.
How do I clean filmed glass?+
As you would clean any window, with a soft cloth and a non abrasive cleaner, avoiding scrapers, blades and anything gritty. There is also a settling period straight after installation during which the glass is best left alone. That period depends on the film and the weather, so we give you the specific instruction for your installation rather than a number that would be wrong half the time.
Do I have to decide on the spot?+
No. Your quotation sits in your account until you accept or decline it, and it carries a clear expiry date so you always know where you stand.
Do you service my part of Melbourne?+
We work across the Melbourne metropolitan area. If you are not sure, send a request through and we will tell you either way.
How long does installation take?+
It depends on the number of panes, the access to them and the film being fitted. We put the expected duration in your written quotation, against your actual job, rather than quoting an average that tells you nothing about your own.

Start with
the glass.

Tell us about the property and the rooms. We will confirm what suits your glazing and put a written quotation in front of you.

A consultation in an unfinished commercial fitout: two people either side of a worktable reviewing a drawing, a tape measure and a folding rule on the bench, a Melbourne street and tram through the glazing behind them
