How we handle your details.

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number, suburb and postcode, and anything you write in the message. With it comes what you told the estimator or the film finder: the type of building, what you want the film to do, what you said about the glass, any measurements you entered, the indicative figure you were shown and the page you came from.

That is all. There is no account to create and no other form on the site.

To answer your enquiry, look at the glass and prepare a written quote, and to contact you about that work. Nothing on this site adds you to a mailing list, and your details are not passed to anyone for their own use.

Enquiries are stored in our customer database, which is hosted by Supabase in India, so your details may be processed there. The people who quote and install the work read them from that database.

A copy of each enquiry is emailed to hello@windowfilmco.com.au through Resend, an email service, and may be processed in Japan on the way. The mailbox itself is provided by VentraIP, an Australian email host.

The site is hosted by Vercel. To serve a page, Vercel receives the technical details of the request, including your IP address. Its network serves Australian visitors from Sydney, and the code that processes an enquiry may run in the United States.

When you send an enquiry, your IP address and email address are combined into a one-way code that cannot be turned back into either. It is used only to limit repeated submissions, and neither address is stored for that purpose.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how the estimator is used: page views, clicks on our phone number and estimate buttons, and how far through the estimator people get. Google sets its own cookies to tell one browser from another. We send it no names, contact details, messages, measurements or figures; Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off; and the data is not linked to any advertising account. Google processes it on its own servers, which may be outside Australia, and keeps it for 14 months.

Vercel Speed Insights records how quickly pages load. It uses no cookies.

Our internal quoting software uses Anthropic, a United States company, to help draft parts of a written quote, so what it receives may be processed in the United States. That is limited to the job: the suburb, the type of building, what the film is for, and the measurements and notes from our own assessment. It is never given your name, your contact details, your message or any photograph.

Enquiry records are kept. The system does not delete them on a schedule, because a quote and any work that follows refer back to the enquiry they came from. Analytics data is kept by Google for 14 months.
