What the price is based on, what we check before any film goes on the glass, and what the written quotation sets out.
What the work is
Film is applied to the inside face of the glass you already have. Nothing is replaced, no frame is altered, and it can be removed again.
How the price is worked out
From the measurements you give us. You measure the visible glass, pane by pane, and the price is calculated from that area. There is no charge for an estimate and no visit before you receive one.
We check those measurements on site before work begins. If what we measure differs materially from what was supplied, we tell you and restate the price in writing before anything starts.
The glass decides the film
Your quotation names the film and the glass it is specified for. Sealed units, toughened, laminated and coated glass each behave differently under film, and so does a window that is shaded for part of the day.
We confirm the glass suits the specified film before any of it is applied. If the glass is not what was described, we stop before a roll is opened and tell you, rather than proceeding and hoping.
If the glass is not as described
You are given an amended quotation to accept or decline, or the job does not go ahead. There is no charge for the attendance either way, and no obligation to continue.
Who does the work
We assess the glass, specify the film and put the quotation in writing. The installation is carried out by experienced installers working to that specification.
What the quotation sets out
The film being specified, the glass it suits, the rooms, the price, and anything that applies to the film itself. It is the document to put to a building manager, an owners corporation, a heritage adviser or an architect, and it is yours to read in your own time.
Your rights are not limited by anything here
Services bought in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they will be carried out with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose stated. Nothing on this page limits them.
